Concerts for American Indians with Diabetes

CONCERTS FOR AMERICAN INDIANS WITH DIABETES

The David Lynch Foundation is working to set up a series of concerts this year to raise funds to support a major study on the effects of Transcendental Meditation on diabetes among American Indians…

More than 80% of Native peoples are struck by this awful, painful, disfiguring, deadly disease, which is fueled by acute stress.

From previous published research, all indications are that meditation will be highly effective in reducing the symptoms of diabetes and even preventing it in the first place…

The study would be a collaboration between the David Lynch Foundation and the US Government’s Indian Health Services, the National Institutes of Health, and other health organizations.

Already, there are several thousand members of American Indian tribes from throughout the US and Canada who would like to learn to meditate and participate in the study…

This is a hugely important study since NOTHING else is working well among Native populations to prevent or treat diabetes… not medication or even dietary and lifestyle changes.

It is really a travesty against humanity what has happened—and continues to happen unabated—to American Indians and indigenous people everywhere. Not just in regard to diabetes but also alcoholism, suicide rates among the young… the list is horrendous, and the crisis is largely ignored by mainstream America.

If you can help, or if you know anyone who could help to support this study, please contact me here at this blog, or go to the David Lynch Foundation website.

Thanks for listening,

Bobby
